Selfing refers to pollination within one flower (spontaneous selfing SS) or between flowers of the same individual (Handselfing, Geitonogamy HS). Outcrossing is the transfer of pollen between other individuals of the same species by biotic vectors such as bees (OC) or by hand (handcrossing HC). Each plant was subject to 5 pollination treatments following Dafni (1992). Each treatment was applied to two flowers per plant, resulting in 100 flowers per treatment. Fibremass was measured after fruits had developed and were mature.
