pollination treatments were conducted in 2015 in a small village "Bankandi" close to Dano, Burkina Faso. 50 plants of conventional upland cotton were randomly chosen. Each plant was subject to 5 pollination treatments following Dafni (1992). Each treatment was applied to two flowers per plant, resulting in 100 flowers per treatment. Fruit set was counted after fruits had developed and were mature.
