Assessing and analyzing plant functional traits of species and vegetation along land use gradients from natural savanna to agricultural fields in three areas that in general are utilized with different intensity. These plant functional traits are investigated for their importance in providing ecosystem services to local populations.

Statement
Original sampling data from people's interviews located at nine villages within the study areas of other WASCAL researchers. In each of the nine villages, ten men and ten women of each of the ethnic groups of the Dagara, Mossi, Gourounsi and Frafra were interviewed, yielding a total of 180 participants. Data were assessed on the basis of a semi-structured interview. Data were collected by Soma Soungalo.
