The rationale of the data collection was to understand the extend to which the community is involved in the planning, construction and management of those facilities. The data was to be used for a Master Thesis on "The Impact of Community Participation on Sustainability of Water and Sanitation Projects in Rural Areas". The respondents were beneficiaries of the public water schemes and public sanitation facilities (Toilets). The data was collected using questionnaires.
