Monthly solar radiation were collected by Tanzania Meteorological Authority in Dar Es Salaam from 2004 to 2018. The months with less solar radiation were selected to design the solar water pumping system.

The hourly meteorological data was obtained from national meteorological Centre and was used in HOMER simulation. The data was recorded at Tororo Automatic weather Station.

Solar radiation, Temperature, and Clearness Index are the set of data which were used to crosscheck the design of more than 9 systems which were installed in Dodoma. The designed year were confirmed and information were taken from the data to re-design the system and conducting economic feasibility

These meteorological data were recorded by different stations of Bugesera region.

Climate dataset (Daily Rainfall Data, Daily Minimum and Maximum Temperature, Daily Relative Humidity and Daily Solar Radiation) for 1986 - 2015 for Ibadan, Nigeria was obtained from the Nigerian Meteorological Agency in raw format and then processed for the study.
